General Infomation on Ibiza Marinas
The Balearic Islands form a significant part of the yachting in the Med. with approximately 19,000 moorings dispersed into 64 marinas. Around 80% of these moorings are in Mallorca. The marinas are at their busiest during the high season (June till September) when allot of the Marinas are completely full, throughout the remainder of the year Marinas are occupied from 60% to 90%.
There are 6 Marinas in Ibiza. The largest is in San Antonio. Mooring costs are dependant on boat size, length of booking, time of year etc. Long term rentals can receive a discount of up to 30%. Yachting is very popular throughout Ibiza, it is not surprising considering the there are over 50 beaches (see Ibiza Beaches for more info), great sightseeing (see Ibiza Tourism for more info), and infamous Nightlife (see Ibiza Night Clubs for more info).
