Opening hours: From Monday to Friday, mornings from 09.30 to 14.30 hrs and evenings from 17.00 to 21.00 hrs Saturdays from 10.00 to 13.00 hrs and 17.00 to 21.00 hrs. Sundays from 10.00 to 13.00 hrs. Closed Monday afternoon. It was opened on its present site in February 1995. Exhibits include a selection of objects that reflect Torrevieja's historic roots, e.g. a display of handicrafts made of salt, a collection of photographs, model boats, archaeological material, fishing and navigation exhibits and others. Recently there was an exhibition of a magnificent model of the Torrevieja sailing ship "Pascual Flores", the last of Torrevieja's ancient coastal shipping fleet that is now being restored at the Sal quay after being purchased by Torrevieja town hall from the United Kingdom. Tomas Valcárcel Museum of Easter Address; Calle Formentera. Opening hours: Monday to Saturday, mornings from 10.00 to 13.00 hrs and evenings from 16.00 to 19.00 hrs. This was created in 1992 and is run by the central committee of the Holy Week brotherhoods. Inside you can see, throughout the year except during Holy Week itself, all the heritage of the Passion processions, with statues, thrones, standards with artisan embroidery, displays of sculptures, paintings and other objects. It is named after one of Torrevieja s most-faceted artists, Tomás Valcárcel Deza, who donated to the museum the small-scale replica of the statue of Torrevieja's patron saint la Purisima Concepcion (Antonio Castillo Lastrucci, 1947). You can also see another replica of the patron saint that was for meany years in Barcelona with the Brotherhood of Absent Torrevejenses (Hnos Blanco López, 1957). Ricardo Lafuente Museum Address; Sited on the upper floor of the Eras de la Sal building, along with the former Business Group of the Salinas of Torrevieja. Opening hours: Monday to Friday, mornings 10.15 to 13.15 hrs, evenings 16.30 to 19.30 hrs. You can see many objects related to Torrevieja's most prolific writer of Habaneras song, Ricardo Lafuente Aguado, who often goes there. Recordings, photographs, paintings and general souvenirs of Lafuente and the group, the 'Salinas de Torrevieja' Choir and Orchestra, can be seen in this small museum.
