Tossa de Mar Golf Tossa de Mar has been a popular tourist destination for many years. The land around it is also widely thought of as being some of the most beautiful countryside in all of Spain. These facts together with an agreeable year round climate have ensured that there are a good selection of quality golf courses present. The entire region around Tossa de Mar & the Costa Brava is considerably wetter than that of southern Spain, however it is still mild enough to play golf in all seasons. In fact the summer heat is less oppressive & may make for more comfortable play during the hottest months. Costa Brava golf clubs tend to subscribe to the typical membership scenario (ditched by many clubs in southern Spain). Green time is usually available to the visitor, though booking is almost always necessary. Those turning up on the day expecting to play may find themselves disappointed.
