Valencia Beaches The city of Valencia has a long stretch of sandy coastline measuring 2.8 kilometres. All of the beaches are well equipped, with lifeguard protection and sports areas. The beach is both long and flanked by many services and facilities, so visitors will find it to be of high occupancy during the summer months. Playa Pineda / Pineda Beach Pineda beach can be found to the south of the port area. This is an excellent place to come and savour seafood dishes in some of the cities most traditional restaurants. Playa Saler / Saler Beach To the south of Pineda beach is Playa Saler, a sandy beach popular amongst locals.
