Vic Located in the middle of the region/county of Osona, & 50 km from Barcelona, the town of Vic is well known. It is rich in history, with its beginnings as an Iberian capital before the arrival of the Romans, who turned the town into an important centre. Part of the old Roman temple can still be seen here. Medieval times brought prosperity as a market town, a tradition which continues every Tuesday & Saturday in the large main square. Vic also plays host to the Museu Episcopal, a museum stocked with many archeological finds, & collections of art dating from the 11th century onwards.
