Vinaros Fiestas Spanish towns and cities are famous for their fiestas and the town of Vinaros is no exception. The best advice we can give for those planning their holiday at fiesta time is to contact the relevant tourist office.   Held in the month of February (though specific dates vary) the Vinaros Carnival is the most celebrated on the Costa del Azahar. Other than the main processions the fiesta takes many forms including beauty pageants, children's activities, dancing, plays, fireworks, and much more. On July 16th local sailors honor their patroness La Virgen del Carmen. Celebrations are centred around the port area where a stage is erected and a feast held.
