To get a summer job in Ibiza you need to fly there and job hunt in person at the beginning of the season. There are a variety of summer jobs available including waitressing/waitering, barmaids/barman, beach work, holiday reps, PR work, hotel work, and much more. There are around 4 million tourists that holiday in Ibiza each summer so there are many summer jobs.
Be aware that some PR jobs are commission only, whereas other types of jobs such as waiter hasn't flexible hours like PR, but you are guaranteed a salary.
On the beach you can work for one of the many water sports companies, which is fun and you have the evenings to yourself. However if you find it difficult to be in the sun from around 10am-7pm 6 days a week then perhaps an evening job would be better. Evening work in bars has the bonus of free drinks.
Often with all summer work you work 6 days on 1 days off. It is advisable to keep your boss and your landlord as two separate people as if one goes wrong you still have the other.
The best part of summer work in Ibiza is the quality of life although the pay is relatively small so are your outgoings, and to party almost every night, sunbathe every day for a whole summer it just cannot be beaten.
