Baza, Granada Province
With a population of just over 20,000 Baza is the largest town in its local area. It is situated to the north of Granada & is surrounded by countryside & protected parkland. The town has a distinctly Moorish feel in its centre & sports narrow whitewashed streets & houses. It also plays host to the Ghetto Baths (thought to be the oldest Arab bath-house on the peninsular) & several other notable architectural monuments.
