Cordoba Airport is small and serves a variety of uses, including commercial haulage and pleasure flights. It does however also cater for passenger airlines flying national routes. This makes it the only resident passenger airport in the province of Cordoba, and is located some 6 kms north-west of the city. Though still low by national standards air traffic here is rising year on year, with passenger figures in 2005 standing at 20,594. The airport is well connected with central Cordoba by bus or taxi.
Malaga International Airport (AGP) is located just 8km South West of Malaga city centre. It boasts easy access via the E-15 and N-340 motorways (well signposted and hard to miss), in addition to bus and train connections. With in excess of 11,500,000 passengers passing through the airport in 2003 Malaga is one of Spain's busiest destinations. It is also one of Spain's oldest airports with its first routes starting up in 1919. Money can often be saved by booking flights and accommodation over the internet, rather than using high street travel agents.
Seville Airport is the resident airport for the province of Seville, and is located some 10 kms north-west of the city. Air traffic here is rising year on year with passenger figures in 2005 standing at 3,522,134). Though the city itself attracts many foreign visitors on an annual basis, Seville Airport still plays second fiddle to the much larger airport at Malaga; which takes care of the majority of international flights for the autonomous region of Andalucia. Instead almost 100% of Seville Airport's traffic serves internal destinations. The airport is well connected with central Seville by bus or taxi.
