Ibiza island has some fabulous restaurants, and the local cuisine is of a very high standard.  There is plenty of fresh decent food; everything from a effortless tortilla (Spanish omelette) to hand picked fresh lobster.  There is plenty of fresh seafood due to Ibiza being such a small Island, it is never far from a fishing port.  There is also an abundance of good traditional Mediterranean style cuisine dishes such as paella, Spanish tortilla, and gazpacho must be tried on a Ibiza holiday.

In the towns nearly all of the restaurants have a sidewalk dining area, a terrace or garden, the majority have fast and professional service, as being a waiter is a highly respected career in Ibiza.

The restaurants in the countryside are often high in the hills with fabulous views, or surrounded by pine trees, or on picturesque beaches overlooking the clear blue sea.  In terms of value for money, quality, and scenery these restaurants are certainly the best.  Please see below for more information:

Here are some traditional Spanish dishes worth ordering in Ibiza Restaurants:

  • Spanish Paella - a rice dish cooked in garlic, saffron and stock, normally with some or all of the following depending on your taste; vegetables fish and chicken a must try

  • Gazpacho - a cold tomato soup very refreshing on a hot summers day

  • Spanish Omelette - a deep and moist slice of omelette normally with potatoes peas and onions

  • Butifarra - mouth watering grilled sausages
